Classes and the skill tree

There is one tree, and every class shares it. Your class decides where you start, not where you are allowed to go: from your start you can walk to any node on the tree, and the only price is the distance. Each level pays a Class Point, and each point takes one node.

Being tested. The tree runs on the test server and is not in the live game yet. The numbers on the nodes are a first pass and will move. Faint nodes are planned and cannot be taken yet.

How the tree is laid out

The six class starts sit together in the middle. Around them run three rings of attribute nodes, joined by runners, and each one you take is three points of Strength, Agility, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom or Vitality. Clusters hang off the rings: a handful of small nodes around a notable, the node worth walking for. Further out sit the keystones, which are trades rather than bonuses. Each one gives something large and takes something real in return.

Points come from levels, one per level up to the cap of 100, so a level 30 climber has thirty nodes to place. Gear and gems stay open to everyone whatever you pick.

Six classes

Four are ready for the tree's launch and two are coming later. Each starts beside the three clusters it is built around, and leans into its neighbours on either side.

Explore the tree

Drag to move, scroll or pinch to zoom, and point at a node to read it. Pick a class by clicking its start, then click any node to take the shortest way there. Click a node you hold to give it back. The address bar keeps your plan, so the link is the build.
